Budget 2021: Takmir teachers' allowance increased to RM900

KUALA LUMPUR: The government has agreed to increase the allowance for takmir (religious) teachers at mosques from RM800 to RM900 per month through Budget 2021 to appreciate the contributions of 4,000 individuals who galvanise the community at the congregational level.

Government Guarantee Schemes for SMEs Announced

Effective 1 February 2020, Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan Berhad (SJPP) will start to accept applications to provide Government guarantee schemes to Malaysian SMEs. The schemes were launched by Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng at an event on 21 January 2020 at Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
