Kuala Lumpur: Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd will set aside RM300 million to help companies finance their contracts with Sarawak Energy Bhd.

KUCHING: Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd (Bank Islam) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sarawak Energy Bhd (SEB) and Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan Bhd (SJPP) to provide financing solutions for vendors listed under SEB’s Vendor Financing Programme.

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 5 (Bernama) -- Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS) has collaborated with another financial institution -- Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad (Bank Muamalat) -- to offer financing to PETRONAS’ Oil and Gas Service Equipment (OGSE) and Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) vendors under the Vendor Financing Programme.

PUTRAJAYA: Women participation in the labour market was at a mere 55.2 per cent last year, compared to men who made up 80.4 per cent of the workforce. Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Ismail said many women despite being talented opted not to work because of responsibilities to their family and home.
